Paper Making Workshop 2017

National Bal Bhavan is a creativity resource centre under Ministry of HRD working for children in the age group 5-16 years.

National Bal Bhavan is organizing Paper Recycling Workshop in the month of November and December for the children between the age 8 to 16 years.

“It makes a big difference to recycle. It makes a big difference to use recycled products. It makes a big difference to reuse things.”

Every year we generate tons of waste paper as our daily work. This paper is either kept at stores which is again get damaged by insects or is sold to junk dealers. But this time we will not let this happen. We will collectively come together and recycle our used paper and give our contribution in making our Environment clean. We all are responsible citizens; we are living in a smart world, using smart phones, doing our work smartly. Why don’t we think smartly?

Our little effort will help the Environment a lot. The paper which you will recycle will be used to make folders, carry bags and many other useful things.

You and your children can bring a change by participating in this workshop. This workshop will surely benefit the children in many ways. This will give them a firsthand experience of recycling the paper. Children will go through all the different stages of recycling like paper tearing, soaking, grinding, preparing the sheet and then pressing the sheets and in the last keeping those for drying. Children will also learn to make different things made by the paper pulp of the same paper.

You are requested to send your children for attending this workshop. Maximum 30 children from each school can participate. The workshop will start at 10:00 am till 12:30 am.
